From Bellflower, California, Ezeakunne signed on with the local Division III Chapman University to play college ball. There, Ezeakunne starred, becoming a 2x All-SCIAC 1st team selection and recording 30 receptions for 364 yards and 5 TD’d in 25 games.
The 6’4″, 240 lb Ezeakunne was selected to participate in the National Bowl Game, an annual All-Star game consisting of elite players from low-tier, non-Football Bowl Subdivisions. His strong performance earned him an invite to an NFL Regional Combine.
Despite going undrafted, Ezeakunne was signed a free agent contract with the Cleveland Browns. At age 24, Ezeakunne brought his strength, size, and speed to The Spring League’s inaugural season.
