From Birmingham, Alabama, Shaw recorded 750 rushing yards, 250 receiving yards, 9 touchdowns and also registered 105 tackles on defense. He committed to Jacksonville State to play college football.
Shaw continued to flex his versatility as a member of the Gamecocks, playing both sides of the ball and returning kickoffs and punts. Despite going undrafted, Shaw displayed enough talent, speed, and versatility to sign a contract with the Carolina Panthers, and then the Pittsburgh Steelers. He also has played in the CFL and the AFL.
Shaw joined The Spring League in 2017 in order to showcase his skills against elite competition in front of NFL scouts.
Said Shaw: “I really enjoyed my time with The Spring League…the coaching staff, players, and everything about The Spring League is all a player trying to get back into the NFL could ask for me in a short amount of times…I wish nothing but the best for The Spring League in the future.”
