Tavarius Wilson

From Jackson, Mississippi, Wilson committed to the University of North Alabama, where he simply dominated. He was named the national NCAA Division II and Gulf South Conference Defensive Player of the Year, earned 3 GSC Defensive Player of the Week awards, led the GSC in tackles with 98 total stops and finished 4th in interceptions. He was also one of seven players from Super Region 2 on the regional ballot for the 2013 Harlon Hill Trophy as Division II Player of the Year.

During Pro Day, the 5-11, 239 pound Linebacker ran a 40-yard dash in 4.77 and 4.78 seconds,  had a 36 1/2-inch vertical jump and a 9-foot-6 broad jump. He did the short shuttle in 4.40 seconds and the three-cone drill in 7.10 seconds. Wilson also performed 26 reps of 225 pounds on the bench press, according to NFL.com’s Gil Brandt.

Wilson has signed a free agent contract with the St. Louis Rams after going undrafted. Possessing plus quickness and a strong tackler, Wilson participated in The Spring League’s inaugural season to test his skills against elite competition in front of professional scouts.
