Hailing from Abilene, TX, Lucas starred in high school, catching 124 balls for 1,825 yards and 14 touchdowns in 21 career games. He committed to play collegiately at the University of Tulsa.
At Tulsa, the 5’9″ Lucas shined. He finished his collegiate career with 3,250 receiving yards and 32 touchdowns, including 81 receptions for 1,180 receiving yards and 15 touchdowns in his final season in which he earned 1st-team All-AAC honors. Despite his dominance, Lucas went undrafted due to concerns about his health following two knee injuries; however, he received serious interest from the New York Jets and Buffalo Bills and ultimately signed a deal with the Philadelphia Eagles.
Now, at age 22, the playmaking WR will join The Spring League in 2018 looking to show pro scouts he’s healthy and ready to contribute on Sunday’s.
