From San Jose, California, Borel committed to Utah State University after a distinguished prep career. Borel was a 3-year starter at QB at Utah State, throwing for 6,698 yards and tallying 8,096 yards of total offense during his college career– good enough for second in school history.
Undrafted in 2011, Borel signed a free agent deal with the Green Bay Packers, who converted him to WR. He also has stints with the Tennessee Titans and Tampa Bay Buccaneers, as well as experience in the Arena Football League.
Looking for a re-entry into the NFL, Borel participated in The Spring League’s inaugural Summer Showcase game in order to test out his skills against elite competition in front of the many scouts in attendance.
