From Memphis, Tennessee, Saulsberry was considered a 3-star offensive lineman, and decided to play college ball at Mississippi State University.
Saulsberry became a stalwart for the Bulldogs, helping another Spring League star Anthony “Boobie” Dixon set a new school record with 1,391 yards. The Bulldog offense lead the SEC and finish ninth nationally in rushing offense, averaging more than 227 yards per game. In his senior season, Saulsberry earned All-SEC Honorable Mention by the AP and played in the East-West Shrine game.
The 6’2″, 300 lb Saulsberry went undrafted in the 2012 draft, but quickly latched on with the Minnesota Vikings. He also has stints with the Denver Broncos and Winnipeg Blue Bombers of the CFL, as well as the Los Angeles KISS of the AFL.
In 2017, Saulsberry participated in The Spring League’s inaugural season in order to showcase his talent in front of pro scouts.
