From Kileen, Texas, Cobb committed to the University of Minnesota to play college ball. Cobb had a standout career as a Golden Gopher: His 2,893 career rushing yards rank 7th all-time in program history and his 562 rushing attempts rank 7th as well. Cobb set a career-high with 220 rushing yards, and ended his Gopher career with 20 rushing touchdowns, tying him for 10th all-time. He was also named to the 2nd team All-Big Ten team in 2014.
Cobb, 5’11” 229 lbs, was drafted in the 5th round of the 2015 NFL draft by the Tennessee Titans. His NFL career was off to a promising start, rushing for 146 yards on 52 carries, including one start which he rushed 19 times for 73 yards. Cobb also has a stint with the Pittsburgh Steelers and Chicago Bears.
In 2018, the 24-year old running back will join The Spring League to prove to scouts he’s fully health and has regained the powerful downhill running style, patience, and vision that led to his early success.
