From Corona, California, Hunt was ranked as a 4-star prospect by ESPN.com and Rivals.co, and the nation’s No. 15 offensive guard by Scout.com. He was named a 2nd-team USA Today’s All-America and the Los Angeles Times’ Offensive Lineman of the Year. He committed to the University of Oregon.
Hunt became a key cog in the Ducks dominant offensive attack. He won the Ed Moshofsky Trophy for Team’s Outstanding Offensive Lineman, the Pancake Club Award for most pankcake blocks, and was an All-Freshman Honorable Mention Scout Team by College Football News. During his four-year career at Oregon, he played in 52 games (43 starts) on their offensive line. As a senior in 2016, he started all 12 games at right guard after appearing in 12 games (10 starts) as a junior.
Undrafted in 2017, the 6’4″, 300 lbs Offensive Guard quickly signed on with the Denver Broncos and impressed during preseason. He was then signed to the San Francisco 49er’s practice squad. In 2018, Hunt will join The Spring League to get more live reps in hopes of winning a spot on an active roster.
