From Matthews, NC, Frost was named the nation’s #2 outside linebacker, the #3 player from the state of North Carolina, and the #20 player nationally by Rivals.com. He was a 1st-team All-State selection. He committed to the Auburn Tigers to play college ball.
Frost had a solid career at Auburn. He finished with 247 career tackles and was named to the Butkus Award watch lists, the 2nd-team All-SEC and 3rd team All-SEC during his time with the Tigers. He also had a knack for raising his game during critical moments: as a sophomore, he registered 7 tackles in the BCS title game against FSU and he recorded a team-best 12 tackles in the Outback Bowl vs. Wisconsin, including a 13 yard sack.
Frost’s draft stock took a sizable hit due to concerns over a knee injury, which caused him to have a sub-par combine. Undrafted in 2016, Frost latched on with the New England Patriots as an undrafted free agent.
In 2018, the 6’2″, 240 lbs LB will look to impress NFL scouts by participating in The Spring League.
