“Marcus Peterson, who played four years in Greensburg before graduating in 2016, signed recently with the Los Angeles Chargers. He is in training camp competing for a roster spot. Peterson, who also ran track and Seton Hill, had just five receptions for 74 yards for the Griffins.
According to Seton Hill, Peterson is the first player in school history to sign a NFL contract.
Peterson, from Inglewood, Calif., signed with the Iowa Barnstormers of the Indoor Football League in January but left in March to take part in The Spring League Showcase.”
